« We had a great stay. It was perfect for what we needed. »

« There was dead bugs in the master bedroom bathroom floor. The toilet in the master bedroom is hard to flush. You have to push down very hard. »

« It had snowed a couple of days prior to our arrival. The wooden walkway to the cottage had not been cleaned off. I kicked off most of the snow but it was still not safe for walking on (no rails). The only alternative was a deep muddy step.Fireplace was not working. It took two messages to the owner to get a response and all I was offered was an attempt to see if anyone was in the area to fix it. I never heard from owner again.The home has seen better days. Couch in living room area was saggy....

« The 1820s restored log cabin was an absolute delight. It was beyond our expectation in every area. All the rooms and living spaces and kitchen were very clean and well maintained.We especially liked the decor which was so tastefully and meticulously done. The wraparound porch with swings was great. One could sit on the swings and enjoy the serene setting, the great view and the sunset. We stayed for two nights but wished we could have spent more time. We will definitely recommend the cabin...

« Very clean, interesting accommodations in a great location. Our hosts were responsive and attentive. The location is a short jaunt from Bardstown in the heart of Kentucky Bourbon country. The structure itself, inside and out, is interesting. It was stocked with all we needed for our stay. »

« Such a great little place for some peace and quiet. Very close to the lake if you want to bring your own boat or you can rent one at the marina. The house itself was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and living room area was open and roomy. I also appreciated the awesome communication with the host. Too notch all around! »
